  • Join Sophia Goard, an experienced tincture-maker, to learn the science and the art of making tinctures from fresh organic medicinal herbs. You will spend the day at the beautiful Organic-certified medicinal herb farm, Harpford Farm (run by Tryphena and Michael Huntingford and their family) where you will learn about harvesting and preparing herbs carefully in preparation for making medicine with them.

With Sophia’s guidance, you will get hands-on turning these lovingly grown fresh herbs into a medicinal tincture, thereby extracting and preserving the biochemically active compounds from the herbs in a form that can be consumed to support health.

You will be given a sturdy soup lunch and tea and coffee will be available throughout the day. The day will go ahead, whatever the weather.

  • Come appropriately dressed in comfortable outdoor work clothes and footwear ready to spend time both indoors and outdoors (whatever the weather).
